Music

Music is an art form that represents a specific type of sound organization in time. The difference between music and other types of organized sounds is that music has a set of obligatory characteristics like rhythm, pitch, timbre, harmony melody, dynamics and some others.
The major peculiarity of music is that it's able to cause certain emotional states and processes, which are defined by the tonal and temporal nature of music. On the one hand, music is able to convey certain states of mind based on centuries-old experience of the humanity concerning the expression of emotions, and on the other hand it is able to adequately convey emotional experience as a process with all its changes and nuances.
In order to embrace even more philosophical and social ideas composers often turn to lyrics as a carrier of a certain conceptual meaning. Thus new types of musical images are created that become firmly connected in public conscience with notions and ideas expressed by other components of the synthesis.
Music has its own structure. Thus, in developed countries there are lots of musical genres that can be differentiated by different indicators. Depending on the type of the content there can be lyrical, epic, dramatic, heroic, tragic, humorous and other types of music.
Modern popular music is represented by a variety of different genres and styles that are sometimes difficult to differentiate from each other. The most widespread way of performing modern popular music is a music band with at least two people (usually three and more).
